Even though it poured rain during our session it didn't rain on these two parents joy that they will be welcoming a new addition to their family July 7th. After jumping around puddles, having ur umbrellas tested by the wind we came out on the other side with some precious keepsake photo's and just a little bit damp! Congrats to the Kellers on their sweet baby girl!

The Young Family: Oakmont Park in Texas

This Family was such a joy to work with! Little William was shy at first but we were soon racing through the park and highfiving! Oakmont was beautiful, the leaves were still on the trees and red, yellow, and orange! This family is so special and I'm just honored to have captured their story and the love between them all. Veronica brought a blanket that was made by her grandmother, Veronica said she makes each grandchild one when they are born, married, and when they had a great grand baby! How marvelous is that? I was fortunate enough to know my great grandmother and got to experience this special gift as well as a child, I was attached to that blanket until i was at least 4! I love traditions like this and even though I do not sow or knit I very much want to find something very special and meaningful to do for my own children!

Kack Family: Spearfish, South Dakota Family Photos

Well here goes nothing! Blogging my photoshoots from now on! Because this family has inspired me to do so many things!

The Kack Family is absolutely lovely! Jim is the pastor at the seventh day adventist church in Spearfish, Sd.( I feel the need to mention that he's an amazing pastor at that!) His wife Lisa is a stay at home mom and teacher to their two cute little ones, Emmy & Sam. These two little dolls are wonderful, they are the happiest, goofiest youngsters you will ever meet! We had so much fun with this shoot. We used a hay stack and an old abandoned rail car for their session location. Ive been dying to do a shoot at that rail car for over a year now and finally got It done! Next on my list is to do a styled fashion shoot out there!
